The Cassette Diablos is a rock band based in Singapore, set up in 2013 with guitarist/singer Derryn Wong, bassist Lyndon Long, drummer Phee Beng Chang (alias Peng Ming Zhang) and lead guitarist Lionel Kong.

This is the band's first EP, with a collection of songs that were started at various points and iterations of the band previous to this one, but all completed and produced from 2014-2016. The chief sound engineer and producer on this record is the band's own lead guitarist, Lionel 'No Relation To Kerry King' Kong.

Like most bands, TCD is made up of musicians with full-time non-musician, non-Euclidean jobs, so it's not meant to be CD-off-the-shelf grade stuff, but a fairly accurate representation of what the songs ought to sound like.

With Lyndon off to handle guitar duties for another Singaporean metal group, TCD are currently on hiatus, but are looking for a bassist to fill the low-frequency-shaped hole in their sound. If you like what you hear and can play a bass, or a know a friend who might enjoy it, then drop us a line. Masochism is not a pre-requisite.
